The official ‘Trelawny Day’ is on 30th June at Pelynt every year and, as per usual, I will be  doing a talk in the village hall.  The talk this year will be about the early life of Harriet Buller Kitson and her marriage to and early life with William Lewis Trelawny in the  1870’s.  This will take place at 5pm at Pelynt village hall and will be followed by tea (pasties, sandwiches, cake etc).  We then move down to the church where people can look at the annual history exhibition before we have a short celebration service followed by a concert by Pelynt Male Choir.

Several members of the Trelawny family usually attend and either Sir John or his eldest son usually manage to get down for it and there is plenty of time to chat to them between the events.  If you need more details and costs etc let me know.
